Synchronisation occurs when the generator connects to the transmission network, from this point the electricity produced is exported to the transmission network.

Please note that CO2 emissions data presented in the Biomass Tracker tool provides a high level, aggregated snapshot of emissions for a given quarter. It is designed to enhance transparency for external audiences and should not be considered a replacement for consignment-level CO2 emissions data provided to customers via third party certification systems or the annual aggregated and externally assured emissions data publicly reported in our ESG Performance Report. Variations between the data sets may occur due to differences in methodology, scope, timing and data sources.
